We ended up buying her the Toyota model, which should last her her entire lifetime and be a hand me down for her children.
WOULD YOU BELIEVE THIS! this was the only sewing machine that we found that has a electric pedal...FOR HER HANDS!!!! Incredible!
She doen't have electricity so GFR also bought her a generator...
